A:
No. St.Regis is a 20 minute drive from the track. Traffic could make it even more. If you want something near by, you are better off staying at any hotel near the airport.

Yes, this year during the Formula e race in March we stayed at the Holiday Inn Mexico Dali Airport and took an Uber to and from the Autodromo. The entire area seemed safe. I would book the room early if I were going to the Mexican Grand Prix.
