Update on Penguin Who Swam From Antarctica to Australia Has People in Their Feelings
Normally, Gus should weigh about 100 pounds, but when he was found on that Australian beach, he only weighed 51 pounds. In just a few weeks, he's gained 7 pounds and continues to put on weight. Gus was released back into the Southern Ocean to start the long trip back home just days ago. We're all hoping he makes it!
