A Civil Air Patrol plane crashed during a training exercise in northern Colorado on Saturday, killing two people and injuring another person, authorities said.

These individuals ‘served the Civil Air Patrol as volunteers who wanted to help make Colorado a better, safer place for all,’ the state’s governor said

Few details were immediately available, but a plane with an unknown number of people on board crashed in the area of Storm Mountain and Palisade Mountain west of Loveland, according to the Larimer County Sheriff's Office.
