Dan Hurley didn’t have much to say after the UConn men’s basketball team lost its third consecutive game in the Maui Invitational, all to unranked opponents, including Dayton in Wednesday night’s battle for seventh place.

What a huge win for Tadd Boyle and the Colorado Buffaloes. A 14.5-point underdog against the two-time defending national champion #2 UConn Huskies at the Maui Invitational, CU erased an early 11-point deficit before going blow for blow in the second half.

The UConn basketball team came into the Maui Invitational ranked #2 in the country, and a lot of people were expecting them to win the entire tournament. What nobody expected was the Huskies to go winless in Maui for a last place finish.
