Nearly 72 aircraft will take part in the air display over Marina, and it is open to the public, as it is being held as part of the 92nd IAF Day celebrations.

The IAF airshow in Chennai, celebrating Indian Air Force Day, features 72 aircraft, including Tejas and Sukhoi 30. Defence Minister Rajnath Singh will be the chief guest of the event.

The IAF conducted a full dress rehearsal at the airshow on Friday in coordination with the Tambaram unit of the IAF. It is the third time the IAF conducted its airshow outside the national capital and the first time in South India.
