Jennifer Garner shared the sad news on Wednesday that her beloved dog -- and sometimes Pretend Cooking Show co-star -- Birdie had died.

The actor suggested that Birdie, her furry friend, was able to "hang on" until Garner's daughter returned home from college.

While mourning Birdie’s loss, the family also prepared for Thanksgiving. Reports revealed that Jennifer’s children would spend the holiday with their father, Ben Affleck, who took a break from filming his movie RIP with Matt Damon to be with his kids.
