WASHINGTON — Jill Biden was departing Tuesday on her final solo foreign trip as first lady, a six-day, four-country jaunt through Italy, the United Arab Emirates and Qatar that wraps with her and President-elect Donald Trump joining other dignitaries in Paris to celebrate the reopening of Notre Dame cathedral.

First lady Jill Biden will travel to Paris on Saturday for the reopening of Notre Dame Cathedral, her office announced on Tuesday. She will already be abroad and travel from Doha, Qatar, to Paris that day before returning home to Washington on Sunday.
