A woman once sentenced to death for killing her four children was re-sentenced Friday to life in prison without the possibility of parole.

Susan Eubanks was re-sentenced to life without parole for the 1997 murder of her four sons, following changes in California's death penalty laws.

On Oct. 3, 36-year-old Christopher Head was convicted of continuous sexual abuse of a child younger than 14 years of age.

A woman who was convicted of four counts of first-degree murder and sentenced to death in 1999 has been re-sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole, according to the San Diego County District Attorney's Office.
