The Wolverines saw their 27-game Big Ten winning streak come to an end Saturday in Seattle, when they fell 27-17 to Washington at Husky Stadium.

As a result, Michigan fell in the Week 6 US LBM Coaches Poll, moving from No. 10 to No. 21. Texas is ranked No. 1, USC is fell out and three future opponents also are ranked: Illinois is No. 23, Indiana is No. 20, Oregon is No. 3 and Ohio State is No. 2.

Michigan has taken a tumble in the Associated Press Top 25 college football poll. The Wolverines (4-2, 2-1 Big Ten) plummeted 14 spots to No. 24 in Sunday's updated rankings, after falling to Washington, 27-17, on Saturday night in a rematch of last season's national title game.

Playing for a CFP national championship nine months earlier, Michigan and Washington were superior football teams full of NFL-bound players who entered the fourth quarter in a 20-13 game and the Wolverines imposed their will in a big way and closed out a 34-13 victory.

Washington quarterback Will Rogers threw for 271 yards and a pair of first-half touchdowns as the Huskies beat No. 10 Michigan 27-17 in a rematch of last season's College Football Playoff championship game.
