The father of missing Hawaii woman Hannah Kobayashi has died in an apparent suicide in Los Angeles, according to police. Ryan Kobayashi, 58, had been in Los Angeles searching for his daughter after she went missing in the city earlier this month.

Hannah Kobayashi was traveling from Maui to New York City to visit family on Nov. 8 and missed her connecting flight at LAX.
