The Philadelphia 76ers came out flat early against the Los Angeles Clippers and it cost them. The Clippers raced out to a 19-point lead in the first quarter shooting 5-for-8 from deep and 60% from the floor overall while Philadelphia couldn't match their energy.

The Sixers' offense sputtered in the second quarter, as they only totaled 23 points across a dozen minutes. But they hung in there thanks to a rejuvenated defense which held the Clippers to eight points in the final seven minutes and 22 seconds of the second quarter.

This season has been about more than a lack of healthy players for the 76ers. No matter who’s on the floor, the Sixers seem unable to make shots, defend, or grab rebounds. And that was the case Sunday in a 125-99 setback to the Los Angeles Clippers at the Wells Fargo Center.
