EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (WEAU) - A release from the Harris-Walz team says the the First Lady of Minnesota will travel to Beloit and Madison to campaign for Vice President Harris and Governor Tim Walz on Wednesday, October 9. These will be Mrs. Walz’s sixth and seventh campaign stops in Wisconsin since Gov. Walz joined the ticket.

Minnesota first lady Gwen Walz, the wife of Democratic vice presidential nominee Gov. Tim Walz, will campaign in southern Wisconsin cities Wednesday for Vice President Kamala Harris and Gov. Tim Walz. Walz will speak with voters in Beloit and Madison. The campaign said Walz will discuss abortion rights and lowering costs for middle class families.

Walz will speak in Beloit at 10 a.m. and in Madison at noon, though no locations have been publicly announced. In late September, Walz rallied volunteers at a campaign office in Ozaukee County, a Milwaukee suburb where Democrats have gained ground in recent elections.

Gwen Walz will be making a 6th and 7th stop in Wisconsin to campaign for Vice President Kamala Harris and running mate Tim Walz.
