French President Emmanuel Macron has toured Paris's Notre-Dame cathedral live on TV, giving the public a first look inside the building since much of it was destroyed or damaged in a huge fire in 2019.

The Notre Dame cathedral was largely destroyed in a fire in 2019, but it has slowly been restored to its former glory in the five years since.

Paris' Notre-Dame Cathedral will reopen on Dec. 7, five and a half years after a devastating fire destroyed its roof and spire and caused major damage throughout.
