INDIANAPOLIS — Indianapolis metro police are investigating after one person was killed and another was injured in a shooting at an assisted living facility on the city’s east side Monday night.

The shooting happened around 7:15 p.m. Monday in the 1300 block of North Ritter Avenue, near Community Hospital East.

One person was critically injured in a shooting in the 1300 block of N. Ritter Ave. on the east side of Indianapolis.
