All eyes are on MS Dhoni as he will reportedly meet the CSK's officials in mid-October in Mumbai. It is still not confirmed whether Dhoni will play in the IPL 2025 season or not. CSK will be able to retain Dhoni for only Rs 4 crore should he decide to continue playing.

Chennai Super Kings are uncertain about using the Uncapped Player rule to retain MS Dhoni for IPL 2025, as discussions with him are yet to take place.

According to a report in Cricbuzz, legendary Indian cricketer MS Dhoni's participation in the IPL is still not final, and he is likely to meet CSK officials in the coming days to convey his decision.

Retired from international cricket on August 15 2020, and last played for India in the 2019 ODI World Cup, Dhoni still has a significant presence in the IPL.
