Tyrrell Hatton won the Dunhill Links Championship for a record third time Sunday after making birdie at the 18th hole on the Old Course at St. Andrews to finish a stroke clear of playing partner Nicolas Colsaerts.

Hatton won the 2024 Alfred Dunhill Links Championship, a closing birdie giving him the title for the third time. He’s the only player in the history of the DP World Tour event to win the championship three times. Hatton finished at 24 under for the week after a closing 2-under 70 on the Old Course.

In the week when a statue of Old Tom Morris was finally unveiled in St Andrews, it was surely the ideal time to make history in the Auld Grey Toon. And Tyrrell Hatton duly did so, becoming the first player to win three Dunhill Links trophies.
