Four-time Oscar nominee Saoirse Ronan is pretty sure she’ll be in Greta Gerwig’s Netflix reimagining of The Chronicles of Narnia - sort of, kind of, maybe. During a recent appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live,

"[We] have the kind of relationship where I just sort of go to her and I say, 'So I'll be in this, just so you know,' " the actress quipped

The Oscar-nominated actress stars in the new film 'The Outrun,' which is her first producing credit. Saoirse Ronan is ready to direct and is sharing the advice her frequent collaborator Greta Gerwig gave her about taking on the role.

Saoirse Ronan is opening up about the Greta Gerwig Chronicles of Narnia casting rumors. Following the massive success of 2023’s Barbie, it was announced that Gerwig had signed on to direct at least two films based on C.

There was speculation that Ronan and Gerwig, who previously collaborated on two films Lady Bird and Little Women, are teaming up once again for the upcoming Narnia movies for Netflix.

Speaking to Variety last year, Netflix's then-film chief Scott Stuber said of Gerwig's work with Narnia: "Obviously, The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe is kind of the preeminent one, but there's such an interesting narrative form [to the Narnia series] if you read all of them."

In 2018, streaming giant Netflix snagged the rights to C.S. Lewis’ beloved fantasy novels, The Chronicles of Narnia. Ever since, rumours have swirled around the franchise, which Netflix hinted could be transformed into ‘both movies and series’.
