Welcome to what we are now apparently calling Black Week, our annual festival of paying slightly less for things we don’t need. It’s the most magical time of the year, when children stay up late hoping to hear the sound of deals on the roof and it snows discounts.

Black Friday sales season is in full swing, with just about every major retailer offering some discounts on all kinds of products and gadgets. Even Apple gets in on the festivities, but not in the same way that other retailers do — and it’s just announced what sort of offers we can expect this year.
