Eknath Shinde asserts that the people of Maharashtra want him back as Chief Minister, citing his connection with the common man during his tenure. He emphasises support for the BJP's decisions while reflecting on his administration's achievements and the need for clarity in leadership.

After returning from Dare on Sunday, Shinde reportedly held a meeting with his senior colleagues to discuss the party’s position on government formation.

He also sought to remind the BJP central leadership that Assembly elections were successfully fought under his leadership although he reiterated that his party will support the decision taken by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah.
