Police have identified the man fatally stabbed in Hartford on Sunday morning. Officers responded to the 2400 block of Main Street around 9:05 a.m. on a report of a person stabbed, according to Lt. Aaron Boisvert of the Hartford Police Department.

HARTFORD — Police have identified the person who was fatally stabbed Sunday. Preston Adams, 63, of Wilson Street in Hartford, was stabbed Sunday morning in the North End of the city, Lt. Aaron Boisvert said. The deadly stabbing happened in the 2400 block of Main Street.

The shooting happened on Broad Street near Preston Street around 8:15 p.m. Saturday. A man in his 40s was taken to a hospital, where police said he was in critical but stable condition.
