Indiana starting point guard Chloe Moore-McNeil knew her team needed a strong effort with Parrish out. She scored 15 of her season-high 22 points in the first half while going 6 of 6 from the field with three made 3-pointers.

Without graduate student guard Sydney Parrish, who sported a left knee brace after suffering a knee injury against Baylor University on Nov. 24, Moore-McNeil finished with 22 points alongside four rebounds and four assists in the Hoosiers’ 78-53 victory over the Black Bears.

Indiana women's basketball's roller coaster season continued at Assembly Hall with a 78-53 win over Maine on Sunday. The Hoosiers (5-3; 0-0 Big Ten) were coming off a 30-point defeat in the finals of the Battle 4 Atlantis that was one of the most lopsided-losses of coach Teri Moren's tenure.

After going 2-1 in the Battle 4 Atlantis last week, Indiana women’s basketball returned to Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall on Sunday to take on the University of Maine. Despite leading by just 8 points at halftime, the Hoosiers pulled away in the second half en route to a 78-53 victory over the Black Bears to improve to 5-3.

Indiana’s women’s basketball team comes off of a runner-up finish at Battle 4 Atlantis and hosts the Black Bears at 2 p.m. ET on Sunday
