Chipmaker Intel announces plans to sell, lease back Folsom site in effort to cut costs
Chipmaker Intel Corp. announced plans to sell and lease back its Folsom site nearly a month after the technology giant said it would be laying off nearly 300 employees at the site in November.
Intel plans to sell, lease back its sprawling Folsom campus
The expansive Folsom Intel (Nasdaq: INTC) campus includes 1.5 million square feet of office, test floor and lab space through seven large buildings, and is one of the company’s largest sites. Intel spokeswoman Addy Burr confirmed the company intends to list the Folsom campus for sale, and lease back the space it needs.
