They were hatched on July 18 in Northfield, Minnesota, and raised on a farm by John Zimmerman, chairman of the National Turkey Federation, and his 9-year-old son, Grant, who introduced the birds at an event in Washington.

The national Thanksgiving turkeys will be pardoned on the White House South Lawn Monday. The two turkeys, Peach and Blossom, arrived from Minnesota over the weekend. Per tradition, Peach and Blossom were treated to a suite at the Willard InterContental Hotel before their pardoning on Monday.
