Julius Randle has only been in the Twin Cities for a few days, but he’s already loving his time in Minneapolis and with the Minnesota Timberwolves so far.

One way to think about this deal financially is the difference between Towns’ contract and Randle’s likely wages over that same period.

In exchange, the Timberwolves got Julius Randle, Donte DiVincenzo, Keita Bates-Diop and a future first-round pick. The Hornets, meanwhile, acquired Charlie Brown, DaQuan Jeffries, Duane Washington Jr. and three future second-round picks.
