Much of Scotland is being battered with high winds as Storm Bert enters its third day. The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for wind with gusts of up to 60mph (96km/h) that could cause travel disruption and power cuts. The warning covers the Western Isles, parts of the Highlands, Fife reaches as far south as Glasgow and Edinburgh.

The Met Office has warned that strong winds are expected to bring disruption to transport throughout the morning rush-hour.

At least five people have died as Storm Bert swept across the United Kingdom, causing power outages and widespread train and flight cancelations.
