Two fashionistas-turned-criminals used sledgehammers to smash the window of an NYC Chanel store to steal pricey purses. The purses, valued at approximately $10,000 each, were stolen when the suspects smashed through the front window of a store located at Madison and 64th Street in Manhattan around 7 p.

A window at a Chanel store on the Upper East Side was shattered by two sledgehammer-wielding men Sunday evening, cops and sources said. Photos show shards of glass littering the sidewalk in front of the high-end retailer at East 64 Street and Madison Avenue after the brazen attack around 7 p.m.
