UTEP volleyball makes NCAA tournament for first time, will play Oklahoma
Dejection just gave way to elation for the UTEP volleyball team, as their 27-5 record was rewarded with the program’s first-ever bid to the NCAA tournament. The ninth-seeded Miners will play No. 8 Oklahoma (14-10) in Pittsburgh, who is the No. 1 seed and the host for the sub regional. The game will be Friday at 2 p.m. Mountain time.

EL PASO, Texas (KFOX14/CBS4) — The University of Texas at El Paso Volleyball team is going to the NCCA Volleyball tournament. The Miners wrapped up the season with a 27-5 record. UTEP will face off the Oklahoma University Sooners on Dec. 6 at 4:00 p.m. ET in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania. This is the first time the Miners head to the NCAA tournament.
