It’s been a rough week at the ISPS HANDA Australian Open for LIV Golf star Cameron Smith, who made his displeasure known about course conditions, hoping to build off a second-place finish at the recent Australian PGA Championship.

Lucas Herbert shot an 8-under 63 at Victoria Golf Club to take the first-round lead at the Australian Open, with 2022 British Open champion Cameron Smith two strokes behind.

Cameron Smith does not know if the dual gender Australian Open will continue beyond this year, insisting the logistical chaos of men and women playing together made for a “long week”.
