A cargo plane crashed near an airport in the Lithuanian capital of Vilnius early Monday, killing one person, injuring three others and setting fire to a residential home, officials said.

A DHL cargo plane crashed on approach to an airport in Lithuania's capital and skipped into a nearby house Monday morning, leaving at least one person dead, officials said. The cause of the accident was not immediately known.

The aircraft involved in the crash was an older Boeing 737-400, although the cause of the accident remains unknown.
